Scope: Turn-key noise control measures were taken in order to minimize the airborne sound transmission from the operation of the hospital’s heat pumps.

Remarks: The project had to be carefully designed so the operation of the machine was un-disturbed and the noise was reduced at the desired levels. The heat pumps were installed close to the noise receiver, therefore, a significant noise reduction was required.
